Hi there

I love love love crafting! I discovered my passion for paper and all things pretty because of my mother, who before she retired, owned a pre-school centre teaching children from the ages of 3 months to 6 years.  Obviously my creative talents were fully utilized via posters, drawings, concerts, etc., and has grown ever since and prevails as an intense hobby of mine.

I love and continue to make gifts and cards for family and friends.  One of my continued passions is making personalized journals for my clients.  I have recently discovered mini albums and am of course experimenting to my hearts content. I have made a few - mostly for my daughters friends who are 16-18 years old but sadly did not make a video of any of them.

I find much of my inspiration for mini albums on YouTube.  There are so many wonderful and awesome ladies who so selflessly share their amazing talent - thank you ladies..Personally I find the construction and designing of the albums easy to do but hit a blank when it comes to embellishing the album.  I think my problem is the papers and embellishments.  Here in Dubai crafting as a hobby costs a pretty penny.  The tools, papers, embellishments, kits I see on YouTube is not always available at the craft stores and if it is, it costs a fortune as I said.

Buying online is an option I am seriously considering especially Graphic 45 who as you ladies know, has the most amazing papers.

A few months ago my husband and I went to Malaysia and Bangkok.  I did a little haul in Bangkok and have hoarded the items ever since.  This past week I finally made a mini album out of the papers - My Minds Eye - life stories collection.  I followed the tutorial of an amazing lady named Suzie on YouTube who goes by the name of CreativeCafeGirl - thank you Suzie for the great tutorial.  I am going to make a video and upload it here on my blog soon soon.

Anyhow, I am ending this introduction now before it becomes too long.  Enjoy your creativity ladies and remember, a handcrafted card is a gift on its own!
